I also noticed that when I’m on a given product page in French, changing page using the main menu would systematically lead me to the English version.

re: 1, do you still get the error? If so, could you send us a screenshot of what the error looks like?
re: 2, I believe I see the same thing you are reporting, and I agree that it’s not what we want. Question: is the default language for your operating system / browser English?

no, my OS and browser are both in english. My guess is that there is a little bug in the top menu: when you’re in French some parts of the menu is already in English (you can see it by looking at some menu items).
