Issue with loading OM_ASX… OM 6.17

Hi karim,

When I load the library OM_ASX, (a old patch) I’ve :

and that, in my listener :

OM > "Loading library OM_ASX - v. 2.2"
OM > "FOLDER for the application AUDIOSCULPT must be specified"
OM > "FOLDERS parameterfiles must be specified"
OM > "FOLDERS soundsources must be specified"
OM > "FOLDERS resulting sounds must be specified"

I don’t know well this library, I always use OM-SuperVP

Dear Jerome,

yes you are right it seems there is some conflicting declarations between OM_ASX and OMSupervp. The reason is that OM_ASX was designed when AudioSculpt used text files to control anal/synth and now As uses SDIF files.
I will look into that.

After investigation:

  1. This is not at all related to OM 6.17 version.
  2. It is a conflicting method (trans-melody) which origin is in om_ASX and was redefined in OMSuperVP (1998-> redef 2019).
  3. This was not to occur, since the first lib has its own package.

So thank you again. We will fix this tomorrow and investigate further upon this strange behavior.

I use OM-Supervp 2.10… So, I did the trick, and it works !
