When we say init_pos: initial position of the plucking object’s access is it in meters?
it’s for the strike and pluck access

Sorry for the long delay in replying!
The access measurement is always “normalized”, that is between 0 and 1.
So if you have a 0.5 meter string, the access at 0.1 will correspond to a physical point at 0.05 m from one side.
