Hello! I just updated to version 7.5 and saw there’s a new function called om-choose. I’m curious about how it’s supposed to be used or what it’s for. Could someone explain its purpose or share an example use case?
Thank you so much for all the effort you put into improving this amazing software. As a composition student from South America, this tool has been essential to my work for years, and I’m grateful that it’s all accessible for free!

Sorry, my bad. I left out the documentation. In order to have ‘d’ working for this special box, please install the following patch:
https://github.com/openmusic-project/openmusic/releases/download/v7.5/patch_081224.lisp
Which overrides all other previous “official” patch fixes.
Now concerning om-choose:
It is a special box (in fact an interface box) which behaves as x-append, but allows you to choose what element to out put:

Special box with editor (double click).
It allows to choose/select items of a list to be output
