Generic functions

Hi all,

Building generic functions doesn’t seem to work in OM 6.6. Any reason why ? Should I downgrade ?

In principle generic functions should work… what exactly happens ?

Hi Jean,

Old generic functions I have created work, but I can’t seem to remember the procedure how to create them (just the beginning of the procedure).

I thought I had to select “new” form the file menu, when in a patch, but that option is grayed out.

Any thoughts on that ?

Yes: new generic functions must be created in the “Package” window where they are stored (and more specifically in the red “user” package).
