Generic Function not working

Hy everyone,

I was trying to create a new generic function but I received this message: “open an unprotected package to add new elements”. I’m trying to figure out how to solve this but I’m not finding any information on tutorials or manuals.

Another issue I’m facing is the method “circular” in “group-list” object. Apparently both “linear” and “circular” gives me the same result. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, the blue packages are “protected” (= in-built, you can not modify them)
You can add generic function in the “user”, red package.
