Floating Frequency Shift

Hello, ASculptors,

I noticed that, when one gives a floating frequency as a value for a Frequency Shift in the graphical interface, when one looks at the treatment file (automatically generated) the values after the comma are deleted. Is it normal? Is there a way, besides correcting the treatment file, to tell Audiosculpt, that, sometimes, a floating frequency shift can be useful?
Thank you very much.

Marco

Hi Marco,

Floating point values should be taken into account correctly from the GUI panel and in the Bpf editor.
On my part the treatment temporary file write those values correctly.

I use the last AS 3.4.4 on OS X 10.11.6 (El Capitan). What’s your current version ?

here is an example of a temp file generated for a frequency shift (Temp/shiftfile):

-10.000000000000000 0.000000000000000
0.000000000000000 120.199996948242188
2.501607717041801 -213.513513513513544
6.000000000000000 -213.513513513513544

Try to open Treatment > Frequency Shift, when the dialog open type for example 120.12 then RETURN. Tell me if it then displays correctly in the new created Bpf. You should see the correct value (first one) on the left (120.120).
