Extract data from tracks (New)

Hi all.

I am looking into Mubu for the purpose of adding greater control over time to my projects and hope you can give me some pointers.

I have started with the seemingly simple task of building a multitrack BPF editor, and typically would like to scroll through using the cursor $1 message and get the state of the various BPF’s out in some form .

Now the documentation seems full of things concerning setting data in the mubu buffers, but how do I get it out?

(This is such a simple and typical task, may I suggest that you include an example patch doing this in the documentation?)

Thank you for any help.

All the best

Thor

Hi Thor,

The access to data is best handled by the mubu.track external.

For bpfs I’d recommend the message “sample”.

I attached a patch that shows how to do.

You can find more in the mubu.track help patch.

Cheers

Norbert

Hi!

Is it possible to sample from several buffers in a mubu simultaneously?
Other than to uzi through every bufferindex for every sampling…

Hi all,

“route cursor” doesn’t seems to work when cursor is controlled outside the imubu with the “prepend cursor” .
am I missing something?

cheers,
