Exporting spectral information

Does anyone know if it’s possible to export the spectral information from TS2 as a text file, or maybe as a .sdif-file?
A bit like it was possible in Audiosculpt?

Or maybe as an alternative, is there a way to do it from the command line with the super-VP tools?

Best,
Anders

Hi Anders -

I don’t think TS2 supports this and won’t in the future. From what I understand there is a separate project at IRCAM (“Partiels”) which will take forward the analysis and export of this kind of information(?).

While we wait for that I and many others have been using SPEAR SPEAR Homepage

This does some of the basic partials analysis and export as SDIF or as simpler text files of partials. OpenMusic’s OMTristan library does have some SPEAR import modules too which can be used in some cases as an alternative to the SDIF import modules.

Hope that helps(?)

Graham

Yes this is very useful. Thank you.

Hi,
You should be able to use the command line generated by TS2 (cf screenshot) with the SuperVP command-line tool by replacing the output format -OS8 by -OS0 followed by the path to your file (ex. `-OS0 “/Users/Me/Desktop/MyFile.sdif”).

And indeed, the Partiels analysis application is in preparation
