Error messages pop up endlessly [SOLVED]

Hello all

I am using OM6.19 on windows10
I keep getting error messages popping up and it won’t let me do anything, how can I fix this?
I connected (nil) to the second input of Chord-seq.
Then I connected the first output of Chord-seq to the third input of VOICE, and evaluated VOICE.
Then “Error while evaluating the box VOICE : In + of (nil nil) arguments should be of type mumber.” pops up.
After I closed it, “ERROR: In + of(nil nil)arguments should be of type number.” kept popping up. Clicking on one of the locations in the patch brought up the error message again
I’ve already tried Abort with OM listener.
After closing the window of the patch that caused the problem, when I try to open the patch in my workspace, an error message pops up and I cannot open the patch anymore

I will appreciate your help

Hi dokokara,

From what you are describing, this first appears as a programing error. The popup “loop” seems to result from reactive mode setting.
Can you send the patch in order to check this, and/or try to deactivate the reactive mode in the om preferences (first tab general)

Thank you very much.
I tried toggling the “Enable reactivity” checkbox on and off, but it didn’t seem to work.
In fact, I can’t even open this OMP file.

Dear Dokora,

Ok the problem is a programing issue. You cannot instanciate (build) a chord-seq with a nil as chords. Once you have passed chord-seq to voice, it reproduced an error that corrupted the patch. We will implement a warning for users to avoid this matter.

oh, I was using another patch to generate a list of pitches, but it contained nil in rare cases.
I’ll use “remove” for now to work around the problem.
Thanks a lot.
