Does anyone use microplayer in Mavericks ?

Hi

I download microplayer 2.0 in Mavericks.

That won’t sound.

I have been setting appropriate folder path by preferences.

Anybody else has the same problem ?

I’m having the same problem. It was just fine until a few days ago, and now it won’t sound.
Were you eventually able to solve it?

Hi guys,

Microplayer uses UDP port to communicate with OM.
Maybe you should check your UDP port setting. c.f screenshot
I don’t have this problem since i am on 10.8

In my case, it doesn’t seem to be a matter of the connection between OM and bm but rather something in bm itself (or maybe OSC?). Could you please send a screenshot of your bm-microton interface including OM-OSC-SETTINGS and Max Window?

Is there any sound when you use the bm-microton keyboards ?
yes => problem of communication with OM (or problem in OM)
no => the problem is not related to OM or OSC settings

OK, this actually solved the problem for me: http://repmus.ircam.fr/openmusic/midi !
I updated OM and for some (probably unrelated?) reason the dac routing in bm-microton was all wrong. Since both things happened at the same time, I was having trouble locating the issue.
The MIDI setup was just a bit more complicated but in the end it worked, and loading the Microplayer in OM 6.9 is just as easy as it was before, once you figure out how the MIDI setup works.
