Debugging antescofos output

Hello!

When I began to work with bigger GFWDs and mixed them with normal messages I noticed that I often can’t really look through the exact sequence of sent messages. For example, if you look at cue in the attached score, you’ll see a big GFWD followed by normal delayed messages - at this point I’d like to “debug” this cue by seeing a time table of messages sent by antescofo in successive order. Like a log file.

I know that it’s possible to make a patcher that collects all sent data (with coll or another collecting object), but it will be difficult to add an exact timing to every collected message. Did you make already something to collect outgoing antescofo messages for debugging purposes? Perhaps it’s exactly that thing that I’m looking for.

Hi Egor,

This is a very interesting request! It actually enters the field of “Automatic verification” which the MuTant team is currently working on… .

To be clear and to be able to respond, here are questions and hints:

What's the final goal for you (as user/composer) of a log/verification tool? Maybe we can address that directly with less hassle.

Have you tried the 'play' functionalities? It actually SIMULATES your entire score.. you can also lower the tempo manually to check that parallel GFWDs (for example) arrive as you desire. This is how many people compose these days with Antescofo.

Let us know and we’ll solve your issue accordingly.
