Unzipping the two different copies of the SOL_0.9 zip archive which I wound up having to download (the file size in both cases is listed as 10.47 GB), proved to be more time-consuming and error-prone than anticipated, leaving me with multiple versions of differing sizes viz 2.28 GB, 14.23 GB, and 14.17 GB.
Granted I haven’t inspected every single sample, but based on spot checks, they appear to be identical - despite the disparities in folder size ! ?
I’m wondering, therefore, if someone might be able to provide me with a Table of Contents/Master Index of the instrument library, so that I might compare what I have with what’s supposed to be included.
For example, should there be a percussion folder?
Should the FLUTE folder include bass, alto, and piccolo, as shown in Figure 3.2 “Exploring the Sound Database,” of the documentation?
Should there be a contrabass clarinet? Contrabassoon? Cor Anglais?
Right now I have none of the above - but would like to - so that’s why I think a Table of Contents would be helpful.
