CHORD-SEQ composition (Copy/Paste)

I don’t suppose there is any news on this: http://forumnet.ircam.fr/user-groups/openmusic/forum/topic/copy-paste-in-chord-seqs/

I notice that it is now possible to compose (place note/events) directly into a MULTI-seq. I love this!!!

Now I can use OM as a full sketching engine, not just for algorithmic composition, but for the other kind of composing I often do, which is placing note/events in time/pitch-space, and gradually filling in the texture/counterpoint/whatever.

Anyway, if copy/paste were reliable that would be fantastic!

For now I will find a workaround.

Hi Chris, as I just posted on this other thread you mention, I think copy/paste is working better now (6.14) in chord-seq editors.
Unfortunately not really in multi-seq: you’ll still need to open the sub-CHORD-SEQs individually to access the full editing features.

Consider this a feature-request, if it’s not horribly difficult

I find Multi-Seqs to be the most useful place to compose, if you have to go through Chord-Seqs to get changes into there, it can be a roadblock to intuition, so to speak. I guess it’s not a huge deal, depending on how you work, but for certain ways of working, as I said in the top of the thread, it would be fantastic.

Anyways, thanks for all of your work!

Chris
