Chord Identifiers within a Chord-Seq

Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying the Holidays,

I have a question about chord identifiers within a chordseq object. I would like to find a way to annotate/name chords in a lengthy chordseq object. So far, I have used the “patch” view of the object with comments, but unfortunately if I change the zoom or font size, these are no longer aligned. I also tried with the internal chord windows though it appears there is no way to rename the individual
chords once they are in the chordseq.

Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Hi Brandon,

No, don’t use the patch mode for this purpose. This mode is experimental and is not yet finalized. I am working on it and hope soon (sometime) i will make it work better.
Now if you just want to annotate your chords, use the “extras” like this:

Here is the patch:
Xtras.omp (13.7 KB)

It will make it work with the zoom and font size. (note the y offset setting).

Best Holidays to you.
