If you mean loading an .aif file as a target, yes this works for me. I’m using Mac retina laptop, Mavericks 10.9.5

This is indeed the very first time that anyone tell us such an interface problem, everyone seemed to be able to import multiple types of targets (wav, aif, au, etc…) without any trouble. Could you please give us system specifics, one example target sound and more details ? ie. does the “drop zone” on the top left slightly lights up when your target is “hovering” it ? Is there any message on the server ? Does the waveform load but not the spectrogram/partials ?

Actually I’ve had the same problem but only in two cases: when one of my DAWs was on (and perhaps Score Editors as well, but I’m not sure) or when uploading wav and aiff files with sampling rates higher than 96kHz. I’m on a Macbook Air 13’’, Mavericks 10.9.5.

well, all the Max’s standalones didn’t want lo load any AIFF, so, I try with a sound AIFF-C from Ircam (africa.aif) and it unblocks me, now I can load every sound in the standalones…… It seems (dixit Arshia Cont) that there’s some trouble with headers but now I can load even sounds that didn’t want to be…… Strange but now it works
