Bus error when loading SDIF chant files

Hi all,
I’m on OM 6.9, and I’m experiencing an annoying issue when I try to load any SDIF chant file, like the ones produced by ResAn. Here’s the error message:

Error while evaluating the box chant-fofs.sdif : Bus error(10) [code 0] at 1975E131
eax 0 ; ebx B01E6DC0 ; ecx 1 ; edx 1
esp B01E6D60 ; ebp B01E6D88 ; esi 1D40F0F0 ; edi 1

I really hope that there’s a way to fix this. Thanks for your attention.

no problem here with this SDIF file.
I can only suggest to :

  • check the read-write permissions on the file location
  • check the full pathname for non-standard/accentuated characters
  • reinstall OM 6.9 (is it working with previous versions or is it only with 6.8 ?)
