I have a bunch of patches that cannot be opened with om 6.11
audio-mix-console in these patches seems to be a problem.

Indeed : audio-mix-consoles doesn’t work in this version.
I have included in 6.11 a new version of the audio system in order to get everything working on macOS Sierra, which at the moment does not include the mixing-console part.
I will make a quick fix to allow for your patches to at least open and post it here as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, I would be interested to know what is your (and other OM user’s) use of the audio-mix-console.
[I actually thought it was not much used anyway]

Thanks for the fix !
In my case, I often use it in analysis patches where I have an audio file and some midi transcription of the audio.
You often need to control the intensity of the audio to compare the two. I do this quite often in my classroom.

I think you can use the attached Lisp file (copy in OM 6.11/patches/) to open your patches again.
The volume control of the mix-console object will not work yet though.
I will send you a proposed update to recover this volume control feature back.
