Sorry, i should have been more clear 
No the init folder is inside the OM 7.6.app (the application) which you will find in your /Applications folder. So you should:
- Quit OM
- right clic (or cmd+clic) on OM 7.6.app icon
- Choose ‘Show Package Contents’
- You will see an init folder. Double clic on init folder.
- Then copy/paste the patch_190825.lisp in the init folder. IMPORTANT: you should use the copy/paste and not DRAG the file in the init fodler.

Thank you so much! I see the init folder, however there’s still a problem: I can copy the patch_190825.lisp, but I cannot paste the patch_190825.lisp in the init folder. Why and what should I do?

Are you administrator of your machine?
If yes normally you should be able to copy paste.
If not, use this om version you will not need the patch:

However, some minor issues remain:
- In both versions 7.6 and 7.7, if I change the approximation value—for example, switching from an approximation of 1/4 tone to 1/2 tone—it displays correctly. But if I then revert the approximation back to 1/4 tone, the display still shows the 1/2 tone sharp or flat symbol.
- In both versions 7.6 and 7.7, quitting OM works, but then restarting often fails; it only works after restarting the computer and then starting OM.
But regardless, I’m now able to use OM normally, and I’m infinitely grateful to you, dear Karim.
