[announcement] Orchidea standalone for Windows

Dear all,

I’m happy to announce that there is now a Windows version for the standalone (0.6.1). Please find it in the download section at www.orch-idea.org

Please consider that this is an experimental build and we are looking for feedbacks.

Hello everyone! I’m so grateful I have the oppurtunity to try this software stand alone on windows!
Problem is, when I orchestrate the file it doesn’t play back.
I’ve assigned the OrchideaSOL2020 folder to the Database Files, assigned the OrchideaSOL2020.mfcc.db file as the Database, a clicked on load database.
The orchestration is done supposedly correctly, but when I hit the play button I can’t hear a thing.
Also:

  • the sound test in the settings is working
  • when exporting a wave file the resulting file is empty
  • when eporting an xml file it works, but of course it looses all the techiques when played back in another software.

Oh, closing and opening it again did the job! I hope that will be useful to others as well
