Anechoic recordings of instruments

Hi!

I’m studying sound design, and are currently in a internship at RadioFrance where I’m working with binaural using spat.

I am working on internalization / externalization of binaural sound sources, and I would very much like to get a hold of some recordings of acoustic instruments made in an anechoic chamber.

I want to gradually change the perception of a sound source being “inside the head” to “outside the head”, and when I find mixing “tricks” for binaural, make some tutorials or somehow make them available for the general public.

Do any of you know where I get can get hold of such, or you might have some samples I can use? They will not be published in any form of commercial use.

All the best,

You can e.g. get the anechoic recordings of symphonic music made by the Helsinki University of Technology.

Hi T.

Thanks a lot, I will take a listen!

If anyone knows of recordings made of contemporary music, then I am also very interested in this!

All the best,
Lasse
