Activation key problem when loading a library

I’m having issues in using my recent downloaded pm2, supervp libraries. I have the Ircam_activation_key that i received on my email, but the window that was supposed to pop up ( when loading the library or opening OM 6.6 just doesn’t appear. I don’t know where to use this activation key and the libraries functios keep returning this “:: Please register an activation key using -init_key_file Ircam_Activation_Key.txt”

any help?

Following guidelines on the bottom of the download page, you need to download the IrcamForumProtection standalone app and run it once and authorize the libraries. Note that you need to do this only once.

actually I’ve already tried to run the IcamForumProtection app, but it just gives me this: “Could NOT authorize technologies! Please visit Ircam Forum webpage with your login and request new activation code.”

This is a snapshot of the message:

The fact is that I’ve already asked for two activation codes and none of them worked, an they’re still valid until the end of february.

I’ve tried re-installing OM and the libraries too , but no result.

My system is a Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard - Intel.

Isn’t there a place on OpenMusic where I can put the activation key code?

Hi Ricardo,

OM does not require any activation so there is no place in it where to input the activation code.

Therefore, no need to look/reinstall OM or the libraries : you should rather check with the Forum subscription/activation tools.

Only the (external) sound processing tools (superVP, pm2, Chant, spat…) require this activation, which can be done with IcamForumProtection.app or other Forum software (e.g. AudioSculpt, etc.) if you have the adequate subscription.
