Abort in MacOSX

Hello,

I’m running OM 6.9 on OSX 10.6.8 and there’s no possibility to use “abort”: every time I run a long process the color wheel spins, leaving unusable the menu bar and keyboard shortcut to abort the process. The only way to stop it is to force quit, or sit and wait until the “approaching memory limit” error appears.
Is there other way to abort in old OSX?

Best regards,
RC

In the preferences there is an otion “Enable Evaluation Process” which makes evaluations run on a separate thread than the main user interface.
Is it checked on ?
In principle when it is on, evaluations can be aborted (CMD+SHIFT+A)

Great, it works. Thanks!
